Temecula is actually a major wine producer in the whole of Southern California. In fact the number of wineries has doubled in the last decade here. Owing to cold nights in summers and mild breezes in the afternoon, the area is perfect to relax and enjoy the quality wines produced here itself. You may find horse riders along the roads as well and many wineries offer horseback riding too. The water also gets easily drained in Temecula because of its light and sandy loam soil. Hence, the roots grow deeper and stronger. The wineries of Temecula usually sell their products from their own shops only. It is hard to find them in ordinary wine shops. If you want to taste the wines, there are tasting shops that charge a small fee for the same. You may get a souvenir wine glass with it too.
